So, about 2 weeks ago I noticed a few areas on my stomach and ribs and chest that were dry and rough and red. They don’t itch or hurt or anything. They’re just there, and I know they’re there, and they bug me. I went to the doctor for some other stuff on Monday and had him look at these spots too. He said they look like ring worm or eczema but they aren’t really circular or big enough for ringworm. I’ve tried lotions, different soaps, cortisone/hydrocortisone creams, and a gel like cream for cuts/scrapes/burns/dermatitis/ulcers/etc. Nothing seems to work or anything. The spots are still there and every day I notice more on my stomach chest or back. My doctor said if they don’t go away in a week or so I should call him again. I can’t keep affording all these visits though. I have enough other problems than these spots, but I don’t know if they’re infectious or contageous or anything. Otherwise I’d just who cares and ignore them. What do you think?

Salicylic Acid and Sulfur soap provides keratolytic, antifungal, and antiseptic action. Salicylic acid alone is mildly anti-pruritic, bacteriastatic and keratolytic. This effect is due to the lowering of pH at the surface of the skin, improving the hydration of the keratin layer. Salicylic Acid and Sulfur in combination are synergistic, and support normal keratin formation.
The outside layer of your skin is covered in oil, and being oil soluble, the Salicylic acid is able to penetrate this outer layer.
Salicylic/20 peel breaks down the protein bonds between the layers of skin, which is why a much quicker peel can be achieved.
For acne, the Salicylic acid has several properties that make it a very effective treatment for acne.
Salicylic/20 peel acts as an anti-inflamm…

I have been using a Neutrogena shampoo that says it’s for psoriasis but my scalp still itches very badly! My doctor gave me Olux foam for my hair line – it works but it burns. I asked about my scalp and the doctor was hesitant to give my anything. So I left with nothing. What can I do?

if you have a drug emporium around there (because most major retailers don’t have much variety) there are also lots of shampoos for sensitive skin..exzema and psoriasis. DHS is the only thing that does not create awful red spots on my scalp and neck.
