What’s best for treating or removing brown spots from your face?

Which is safe and lasting, are there any side effects, how much would it cost me, and how many treatments would I have to undergo.

I’m guessing by brown spots you mean spots that are flat on the skin and not raised. If so go to a dermatologist and he/she will probably suggest an IPL Laser. It is very quick and relatively painless depending upon the strength of the laser chosen. First they will apply a numbing cream 15/30 mins prior to treatment. It just feels like a rubber band snapping onto the area you want treated.
The laser attacks the melenoma and after a few days it will scab over as your skin rejects the cells and then falls off. It’s very simple. I had it done on a dark birthmark on my arm, and i’m having it done tomorrow on a few dark freckles i have on my face.
I cant say anything for cost because places vary, and it also depends how many and where you are having them treated. But it is not cheap.
Side effects include scaring, but this is very rare. The area might also be slightly lighter than the surrounding skin. This has happened on my arm, but is slowly returning to my normal skin colour, and is barely noticeable.
Lasers are really common now and safe. Do your research and you should have no trouble finding a good dermatologist in Brisbane. However if your only talking about freckles, i think they’re really cute and have decided to not have IPL treatment all over my face, but only on darker freckles, more like flat moles on my face.
however if you are talking about raised moles, IPL cannot be used.
Be sure to ask any questions to your dr and ask for before/after photos
The results are permanent, however to prevent future sun damage wear spf 30 everyday (even if its cloudy) make sure you do!
