21 yrs old. have had acne since I was 12 or so. I have combination skin; black heads on nose, (tiny) on chin and near my nose; enlarged pores; rough spots; and pimples on my cheeks.
I have tried:
Benzaclin gel
burned skin
dried it out
Zithromax and others
cleared up chin, then dr took me off of it
Purpose acne wash
Proactiv extra strength -few months
dried my skin, made it more oilier, and flaky
All natural system called L’Bri -2 years
didn’t clear acne up
Clean and Clear kit – few months
saw a change, then burned my skin near the edges of my eyes
Proactiv Gentle formula -1 month
saw a change, then got worse
Any other suggestions?
I purchased other clean and clear face washes as well and the blackhead scrub too….should I bother using them?
Try “aloe Vera plant”. That’s what I used long time ago and it worked great. I no longer have acne, and it took me about three weeks for it to go away completely. What you do is get the “aloe Vera plant” leaf and cut it into peaces and then cut the peaces in the middle, than you take juice of the plant and then rube it on the face and leave it overnight. Now, it does stink a little but its so worth it. If you look at the ingredients on acne stuff the main ingredient is aloe Vera plant. So try it and let me know how long it takes for you to have a clear acne free skin. Good luck,
