Celiac Disease Psoriasis

how can i tell if i have psoriasis, celiac’s disease or lichen planar?

I can’t get a dermatologist appointment for 6 weeks. The rash is on my lower shin in the front, mildly itchy, started with a single spot and spread. It gets better and worse. It might be diet related, I can’t quite tell.

Why not try going on a gluten free diet for a little while to find out? Go gluten free for a few weeks and do the diet properly. I had “psoriasis” all the time until I was diagnosed with celiac disease and went on the diet, I haven’t seen it since. Mine also got “better and worse”. Give it a shot, good luck.

Gluten Acne Connection

Cut dairy out of diet due to acne. Should I also cut out gluten now?

So I’ve had really bad acne for a very long time (5 years), my whole face is completely scarred. It looks horrid. Tried everything from pills, to proactiv and what not. However, recently I discovered the dairy and acne link, so it’s been a week and I havn’t eaten any dairy. Also, I noticed that when I went on vacation last year, and had no dairy whatsoever my face cleared up, so there’s definitely a connection. This time, however, despite cutting out dairy I have not really seen any change in my skin. I know it’s been only a week, but there should have been some change right? Should I wait it out for a couple of weeks, or cut gluten out of my diet as well?

i’d wait it out awhile, let your body and habits adjust before you start changing too many things. non gluten is a difficult diet to adjust to, and i’m sure cutting all dairy isn’t the easiest either. be patient, i’d say a month or 2 and then start working out the gluten. good luck! i hope it works for you!
