anyone help me with my acne problem!? is there possibly something to do with my diet that could be improved?
i’ve had acne for about 4 years now and i cant seem to get rid of it. I’m using Proactiv at the moment and it has improved my skin a lot but i still have a greasy patch on my forehead that always has painful whiteheads on it and my back is absolutely covered with acne. i eat healthily i’d say but i guess my diet could be improved.
does anyone know of any natural/homemade or easily obtained remedies for my persistent acne? because i am reluctant to buy anything over the internet which is the way that all the supposed “miracule” acne cures are sold.
also i’ve tried the toothpaste on the pimple, the honey mask and nearly every other home remedy and its just made my acne worse. please help i dont know what to do!

i have this stuff called clean and clear and its in a little silver and blue tube i’m pretty sure it comes in a box but its really really strong and i usually put it on like when i can remember to in the night b4 i go to bed and when i wake up. so if u find that i hope it helps !!

How do i get rid of acne scars, melasma, black blemishes on my face?
I’ve had melasma on my cheekbones for a few years and acne scars come once in a while. Without makeup, i dont feel my skin is beautiful because i used to go out without sunscreen. I didnt know that you shouldnt go in the sun after using products with aha & other skin lightening agents in them but that was then, now i know. I’ve discovered some natural products that i’ve heard are greatcalled ‘Shea Butter’ and another is Pure Aloe vera from leaves. Also vitamin c – ester c cream, alpha lipoic acid cream & DMAE cream are said to work miracles on troubled skin. Google these and i think you’ll be pleasantly surprised. I’ll let you know how it goes and how long it took me to see results when next i log in. Please if you know any other better creams or natural products than the ones i mentioned let me know. I have the same problem…I’ve had acne but when the spots go but leave red marks on my face for sometimes weeks – and the places I’ve had a lot of spots in the past look discoloured and darker than the rest.
I use clean and clear or neutrogena clear skin – both contain salicylic acid which prevents breakouts and gradually evens the skin tone out too.
Another suggestion is the scrub you can get called ‘resurface’ from L’oreal. You only use it a couple of times a week (and use at night because it makes your face red!). It really works not just with the colouring but also the texture – smoothes it back out.
And my final suggestion is ‘sheer cover’ mineral foundation. You see it on infomercials a lot…tacky I know! But it really works. You can buy it on eBay too so it’s easy for you to get some to try it out. You use the tiniest amount but because it doesn’t settle into enlarged pores and it contains minerals that reflect light, it disguises any kind of ‘scarring’ and also it stops you getting spots because it doesn’t block pores. The minerals in it reflect light a bit too which acts as a kind of concealer. It’s hard to explain but it’s fantastic. Just make sure not to use too much – and apply with a kabuki brush starting from the outside and working in so you don’t end up with an over made up nose!
