Celiac Disease Psoriasis

how can i tell if i have psoriasis, celiac’s disease or lichen planar?

I can’t get a dermatologist appointment for 6 weeks. The rash is on my lower shin in the front, mildly itchy, started with a single spot and spread. It gets better and worse. It might be diet related, I can’t quite tell.

Why not try going on a gluten free diet for a little while to find out? Go gluten free for a few weeks and do the diet properly. I had “psoriasis” all the time until I was diagnosed with celiac disease and went on the diet, I haven’t seen it since. Mine also got “better and worse”. Give it a shot, good luck.

Celiac Disease Eczema

Does dermatitis herpetiformis from Celiac Disease resemble psoriasis?

Okay… is dermatitis herpetiformis scaly, red, and in some areas look like really dry flaky skin? (and when you put on cream it seems to come back/not completely go away)? Does it look anything like psoriasis? Does it resemble eczema?

well in psoriasis the scales are white silver in color and when u remove it u find a raw surface with multiple bleeding points ,you can find that here in this site about psoriasis http://psoriasisdestroyer.blogspot.com/

Gluten Intolerance Eczema

Gluten allergy and weight gain?

I have been suspecting I may be somewhat intolerant to gluten. I have eczema all over my legs and sometimes stomach and arms; my ears itch furiously all the time; and sometimes after I eat cereal I feel extremely tired. I’ve been diagnosed with IBS, and have stomach aches, bloating, and gas pretty often.

The only thing that doesn’t match is that I’m not thin or have problems growing. In turn, I’m probably 10 lbs heavier than I’d like (5’5”, 139 lbs).

Does this sound like a gluten intolerance?

With the intense itching you are experiencing, you sound like you have dermititis herpetiformis which is a gluten intolerance condition. You should get a skin test near an outbreak by a dermatologist and after the test try a gluten free diet and see if your skin clears up. It may take many months to clear up but believe me the results are worth it.
